Steam has recently released an update that makes all trades reversible for 7 days after being completed. They can be reverted by either the sender/receiver, so we had to update our trading system as well to avoid abuse.
What are the changes on CSGOEmpire?
When you sell an item, it will take 7 days before you receive your funds. We need to ensure the item stays with the buyer for sure before crediting.
When you buy an item, you will only be able to equip and play with it. You won't be able to trade, sell, consume or modify it in any way.
What if my trade was reverted?
Your funds are safe. Since we do not credit the seller immediately, it means we still hold the funds while the trade is reversible. It'll be similar to a dispute, just reach out to support about this and let us know.
We have a zero tolerance policy against any abusers however, so this means whoever reverts the trade will be permanently banned from using our marketplace.
