What Is Trade Tracking?
You share a Steam token with Empire, which lets us check your trade history and verify that a trade was completed. The token can't be used for anything else.
We mainly use it to pay out the seller’s coins after the 8-day trade protection period on Steam ends (when the trade is no longer reversible).
How do I enable tracking on Android/iOS?
You can follow the video above, or follow these steps:
1. Open Trade Tracking menu on CSGOEmpire:
2. Open the Steam token page:
If all you see is {"success":1,"data":[]}, then log in at http://steamcommunity.com/ and try again.
3. Copy everything shown on the Steam page.
4. Paste it into the input field back on CSGOEmpire.
You will see 'Active' if it worked. The token resets every 24 hours and needs to be manually updated. Give it a few minutes now, as our system should automatically check for updates and help with your trade.
How does this benefit me?
Sellers are automatically credited once the trade protection period ends.
Buyers no longer need to manually mark items as received. Just dispute if you didn’t get the item or if there’s an issue. If you let the trade expire after the seller marked it as sent, your coins will be transferred to them.
In most cases, neither side needs to submit evidence for disputes—our system verifies trades via your history.
