We collect pricing data from other marketplaces, mainly BUFF, such as buy orders and listing prices. With this data, we're able to calculate an average USD price for an item which then translates to an Empire Coin value on the site.
Usually, the price we offer by default will be ~6% below the listing price for that item on BUFF. This can vary on items with less demand and data available too.
